Somebody likes us

I’d like to start off by giving great thanks to all of our new MochiBot friends who believed in us enough to sign up for an account and for posting such great blog entries about MochiBot.

It’s been a week since we opened the site up to the public and we’ve been getting great feedback from everyone. (keep it up! :)) We’re seeing more and more new users every day and it’s amazing how much traffic you guys are getting on your Flash content. Here’s a perfect example by Fusionary Media.

We added more features and made some improvements to MochiBot this past week so here are a few things that you’ll see when you log in:

  • New - Graphs on the SWF Detail and Traffic Report pages.
  • New - There is new MochiBot code so that one script does it all. The new code is now Flash 5 compatible.
  • Improved - The MochiBot code is now less likely to conflict with existing levels and var names.
  • Improved - SWF version compatibility is now managed on the fly by MochiBot depending on what version the SWF is.

We have more features and improvements coming next week so stay tuned for some more treats.

Thanks again to everyone for helping to spread the word about MochiBot! We’re glad that other people ♥ MochiBot too.

    A perfect example indeed! I work at Fusionary, and found the link to Mochibot at whatdoiknow.org. I told my employer about it, and he immediately added it to the Fullmo SWF. By the end of the day there were over 1000 visits. So far, I think it’s been averaging about 1000 visits a day. And that’s ONE SWF. The game has been out for about 2-3 years, and we know of numerous other sites that have this same SWF on their own servers. I can only imagine what its numbers would be like had Mochibot been placed in the SWF file from the beginning. Which obviously wouldn’t have been possible, but hey, better late than never. Thanks for a cool service.
