The gents at Weebl recently launched a MochiBot powered Pac-man style game with some beloved characters from their site such as Wee Bull, Weebl, and Bobs. The object of Ultimate Pie Theft is to guide Wee Bull around the stage to eat up all Weebl and Bobs’ pies. The art is really nice and the game retains the cuteness and humor found in all their other works (my personal favorite).

It’s been over a year since we first launched MochiBot (ya we forgot to celebrate…oops!). We went through a few database crashes, hundreds of Diet Cokes, thousands of Flash movies, nearly a billion hits and everything is still holding strong and running smoothly. After successfully performing a full system audit, a few load tests, and a bar mitzvah this past week we’re finally taking the BETA label off the site and officially announcing MochiBot v1.0. *woooo*

I haven’t had the time to dig into the new iPod game format, but it sure didn’t take long for other people to. Ben Sinclair has an entertaining writeup on his quest to break down the new iPod game format.

The new Apple announcements were interesting, but the new iPod Nano ad steals the show. Another interesting area is the iPod’s ability to play casual games. Now only if they could play Flash games.

I just ran across a sweet commecial over the weekend that Coke put together. It’s a play on GTA (Grand Theft Auto) and they pulled it off nicely. It leaves me feeling all warm and fuzzy… or could that be from the three Cokes I’ve had this morning. Launch video

TheSimpleAndy just released a brain twisting trilogy of his famed Click Drag Type series. This third game adds five new puzzles along with puzzles previously released in CDT and CDT2. Not only are the new puzzles more challenging, but there have also been many improvements to both the interface and puzzles.
Some of these puzzles can be quite challenging so we’ve created a forum that will allow you to discuss the game and get hints for the puzzles.
We don’t usually sponsor games, but we made an exception with Andy because we were impressed by his enthusiasm, smarts, and most of all passion for the creative process. We were even more impressed when he consistently made his milestones, was proactive about communicating with us, and most importantly making a great final product. If you’re looking to hire a top notch guy, then we’d recommend you start here: Email TheSimpleAndy
